Instinctive CEO Dave Jones Inducted into AIIM Company of Fellows
INSTINCTIVE SOLUTIONS CEO & Founder Dave Jones has been inducted into the AIIM (Association for Intelligent Information Management) Company of Fellows, recognising his outstanding contributions to the information management industry throughout his career.
Jones was formally inducted into the Company of Fellows at AIIM’s 2023 conference, held in New Orleans, USA. He is the 234th Fellow to join the group since it was founded in 1963.
“The AIIM Company of Fellows is a very select group,” said Jones. “Being invited to join it is a humbling experience.”
“Honestly, I didn’t appreciate how much of an honour AIIM has shown me until I sat down for my induction lunch and realised the room was filled with countless industry heavyweights – the people who made information management what it is today. I am deeply privileged to have been inducted into such an illustrious group.”
Jones’ career in the information management industry stretches back to 2002 when he founded xDM Software, developers of the Obsidian cloud-based document management system. Since then, he has taken on several prominent roles, including VP of Product Marketing at Nuxeo, Chairman of the AIIM Board of Directors, and most recently CEO of Instinctive Solutions, where he recently authored AIIM’s 2023 Industry Watch Report.
“I see this as the start of a new journey rather than the end of one,” said Jones. “I plan to keep giving back to AIIM and the information management community however I can, whether collaborating on the AIIM Industry Watch Report or striving to communicate the principles and ideals of the industry as widely as possible.”
Jones’ fellow 2023 inductees were: Martin Birch, CEO & President of IBML, Jeffrey Lewis, Information Governance Manager for SOL Capital Management, and Candace McCabe, CIP, Sr. Solution Architect – Global Technical Platforms – Enterprise Architecture for Walmart.
